December 18, 2001 – A plane captain gives the 'hold' signal to the aircrew of an S-3 Viking from the "Screwbirds" of Sea Control Squadron Three Three (VS-33) before the start of flight operations on the flight deck of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. |
