January 17, 2002 -- An F/A-18C "Hornet" is readied for morning flight operations as the sun rises on the flight deck of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). John C. Stennis and Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
