Peter Merlin of NASA Dryden Flight sent us these two photos of 161519. It was one of the original F/A-18A flew in the solo position the first season of the conversion to the F/A-18A in 1987. This aircraft still flying as a chase aircraft for NASA Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB with tail number NASA843. |
