Winona Area Technical School 125992 - Navy Grumman F9F-5 Panther Winona - Municipal / Max Conrad Field 125992 to VMF 224 in 1952. To NAS Atsugi and Yokosuka in 1953. To NAS Alamada and MCAS El Toro and ended up in Naval Reserve NAS Minneapolis. Retired Jul 1959. For a couple of decades locate at Winona's Lake Park. Moved to Max Conrad Field in 1980s. Moved to Bowling Green-Warren County RAP in Jan 2008 for restoration for Aviation Heritage Park. In 2012 was on display at Aviation Heritage Park, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on loan from National Naval Aviation Museum. |
