This aircraft is a modified by Northrup/Grumman, under a DARPA contract, for NASA Shaped Sonic Boom Demonstration (SSBD). She became operational as USAF S/N 74-1519 and later transferred to the Navy and became BuNo 741519. She was acquired by the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum after the successful demonstration and was destined for scrap.
