USS Lexington Museum

Grumman TF9J COUGAR
Bu No 147276
Painted as Bu No 142470

At one time they painted it in Blue Angle colors. But this was not the aircraft that served with the Blue Angels.

After the Hurricane in 2007 the Museum is painting her but I think she is going back to feel colors.

Here's Navy 7 "the Coug" doing her job. The only difference is the refueling probe, which the training command took off. This aircraft is on the USS Lexington. It is the actual Cougar used by the Blue Angels during the "Tiger Era" from 1957-68.
