Atlantic Ocean (Oct. 31, 2005) - An E-2C Hawkeye, assigned to the "Screwtops" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Three (VAW-123), conducts a touch-and-go landing on the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Enterprise and embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) are currently conducting carrier qualifications and Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) in the Atlantic Ocean. At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Feb. 13, 2002 -- An E-2C Hawkeye from Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Three (VAW-123) "Screwtops" makes an arrested landing. The "Screwtops" are part of Carrier Air Wing One (CVW 1) currently deployed with USS Theodore Roosevelt in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. |

Naval Air Station Oceana, Va. (Sept. 25, 2004) - An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Screwtops" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Three (VAW-123), flies past the crowd during an aerial demonstration of the Hawkeye at the 2004 "In Pursuit of Liberty," Naval Air Station Oceana Air Show. The air show, held Sept. 24-26, showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces, which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays. |
