Arabian Gulf (Dec. 27, 2003) -- A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the Rawhides of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Four Zero (VRC-40) home ported in Norfolk, Va., makes a logistics run to USS Enterprise (CVN 65) from military installations in Bahrain. VRC-40 and the elements of the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group (ESG) are currently operating in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the continued war on terrorism.

Arabian Gulf (Oct. 21, 2003) -- Chief Warrant Officer Harry C. Stackler III from Newcastle, Del., signals that a C-2 Greyhound assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Four Zero (VRC-40), successfully caught the arresting wire as it lands on the flight deck of USS Enterprise (CVN-65). The Greyhound supports the Enterprise by providing carrier-onboard deliveries (CODs), transporting mail, cargo, and personnel.

Arabian Sea (Sept. 6, 2006) - Aviation Boatswain's Mate Airman Andres Rivera, of Atlantic City, N.J., directs a C-2A Greyhound assigned to the "Rawhides" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Four Zero (VRC-40) into position for launch on the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). The Enterprise Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) are currently on a scheduled six-month deployment in support of global war on terrorism.
