Western Pacific Ocean (Oct. 25, 2003) - An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Tophatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Four (VFA-14), flies over the Western Pacific Ocean during flight operations. VFA-14 is assigned to Carrier Air Wing One One (CVW-11) and is deployed with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, returning to their homeport of San Diego, Calif. |

PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2009) An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Tophatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 14 launches from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11 are conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise off the coast of Southern California in preparation of a scheduled deployment to the western Pacific Ocean. |
